Entries need to demonstrate new and novel ideas, designed to disrupt the payments space and support the mission of Ozow to enable anyone, anywhere, to participate in the digital economy. With features that include dynamic banking details (dynamic payment target), variable amounts, payment requests (URL/SMS/Email), and configurable payment setup (reference number, static/variable amounts), the possibilities are endless.

The sky is the limit with regards to extending and improving the product.  For example:

Explore effective and efficient ways of interacting with websites, managing long-running workflows efficiently, and automating user journeys.

The creation of an API that allows a merchant to drive the payment process, while keeping user credentials secure (server 2 server).

Novel ideas in fraud detection and merchant reputation calculation from publically available sources

Reduce fragility in screenscraping/HTML parsing using techniques such as machine learning, image recognition techniques, and others.

The application of Open Banking principles utilising existing public endpoints.

Incorporation of unique payment methods into the Ozow application.
