Brief
Hello Tomorrow is a global organization on a mission to unlock the potential of deep technologies to help solve some of the world's toughest challenges (societal, environmental and industrial).
Is your startup based on a new technology, a scientific discovery or a complex engineering process? You’re in early stage of development (from non-yet incorporated projects to industrialization) and need global exposure, funding and connections with key industry leaders? The Hello Tomorrow Challenge is made for you.
Startups from all African countries are eligible, by applying, you’ll participate both in the Africa Challenge and Global Challenge with a world of opportunities to grab and prizes to win.
Expectation
Your startup will be evaluated by a jury of international experts on 4 criteria:
- Technological innovation: The company must develop a product/service based on a new technology or an innovative application of an existing technology.
- Potential impact: The company must have the potential to make a substantial long-term impact on business and/or society.
- Leadership: The company must have visionary leadership with the capabilities to drive the company towards success.
- Viability: The company should have well-formulated plans for developments and goals and a sustainable business model.

Hello Tomorrow is a non-profit organisation bringing together a community of actors aiming to unlock the potential of deep technologies to solve the world's toughest challenges. We source deep tech projects and startups and facilitate collaboration between entrepreneurs, industries and investors in order to propel innovation from the lab to the market.
Hello Tomorrow organises startup competitions, mentorship programs and a series of events around the world, as well as educating and consulting relevant stakeholders on emergence of deep technologies. Hello Tomorrow is fast becoming a key reference platform in deep tech innovation and entrepreneurship.

For this challenge we will consider only:
Startups from all African countries are eligible
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Your project is in its early-stage of development (seed or series A). We also accept projects that are about to be spinned-out from academic labs as long as they have a strong proof of concept.
- Your project is based on a scientific discovery, an advanced technology, a complex engineering process or an innovative application of an existing technology.
- Your project could solve an industrial, societal or environmental unmet need or create a new market.
- Your are a team of at least 2 working on the project.
