Challenge sponsored by the French Embassy in South Africa for AfricArena 2019 :
Startups from the French Tech Ecosystem in France, focused on scaling up with clear market fit and development strategy in the African market, and operating in the AI, Robotics or Augmented or Virtual Reality domains
Expectation
Criteria : company has to be incorporated in France at the time of application, maturity : post revenue, Pre Series A to Series B.
mission
The goal of this challenge is to identify startups from the French Tech ecosystem with an interest to scale up on the African continent and provide their product and services to the African market. The finalist will be able - by attending the AfricArena Summit and associated Startup Bootcamp program and Learning expeditions - to meet potential clients, partners and investors and discover the potential of the local market and ecosystems.
Submission Requirements

For this challenge we will consider only:
Start-ups that are incorporated and operating in France.
MATURITY CRITERIA
Post revenue, Pre Series A to Series B
Less than 5 years in business
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Required format:
1. Short video with 2 topics: Startup presentation / How do you solve the problem? (mpg, mpeg, mp4, mov) MAX 50 Megabyte – You can also share us a “Wetransfer” link or a Youtube video
2. Deck pitch: 8 slides max (ppt, pdf) - MAX 50 Megabytes
Last day of submission: 25th September 2019 – 12 midnight (GMT +2)
20 start-ups will be shortlisted from the applications – of which 3 will be selected as winners.
