We are looking for start-ups that have developed and tested a valid business case for smart contracts in a range of markets not limited to the below, but including:

Insurance
Diaspora
Shipping and Escrow
Green standards / carbon emissions
Community savings / investment schemes
Investment, debt, equity and exchange products
Agriculture / Crop Financing

Priority will be given to start-ups that can prove they have validated their business concept, over projects with strong technology.  For example, a letter of interest from a client, or a qualitative survey of potential customers for your business idea is more likely to succeed than an impressive financial contract.  The ideal project however should have both a validated business case AND a strong technological solution.
 
Preference will be given to solutions that allow large corporates, banks, and other institutions to participate, but we are looking for projects that solve problems on any scale - from small to big, super local to global.
